UK Domain Transfers

UK domains have a different transfer procedure to standard domains. They are straightforward to transfer and usually instant. They also do not include a compulsory one year domain renewal.

We are fully accredited nominet members. Note that .gov.uk is run by JISC and is standalone. We can also offer .gov.uk registrations.

What happens to the expiry date

A UK domain transfer does not change the domain name expiry date. That will remain exactly as it was prior to transfer.

Will nameservers update on transfer?

No. Nothing will change on the transfer of your domain to us.
