We use NVMe SSD storage across our hosting infrastructure. NVMe (Non-Volatile Memory Express) drives are significantly faster than traditional SATA SSDs — with several times the read/write throughput and much lower latency — which translates directly to faster database queries, quicker page loads, and snappier control panel operations.

Where NVMe is available

The majority of our shared and reseller hosting servers run on NVMe storage. Newer server deployments are NVMe as standard. Because we operate across many locations globally, the exact storage specification can vary by location and server generation. If NVMe storage is a hard requirement for your use case, contact our support team before ordering and we can confirm the specification for your preferred location — or place you on an NVMe server directly.

Does NVMe matter for my site?

Storage speed matters most for:
  • Database-heavy applications — WordPress, WooCommerce, forums, and anything with frequent queries
  • Sites with many small files — file operations complete faster
  • High-traffic sites — I/O contention is less likely under load
For a small static site, the difference is minor. For a busy WooCommerce store, it’s substantial. If you have questions about the specification of your current server, open a ticket and we’ll gladly share the details.
