All Stablepoint hosting plans include free SSL certificates for every domain and subdomain, issued and renewed automatically.

How it works

Our servers use AutoSSL with Let’s Encrypt/Sectigo certificates:
  1. Point your domain to our hosting (via our nameservers or an A record).
  2. Within a short time of DNS resolving to the server, a certificate is issued automatically.
  3. Certificates renew automatically before expiry — you never need to reissue them manually.

Checking your SSL status

  1. Log in to cPanel.
  2. In the Security section, click SSL/TLS Status.
  3. Each domain and subdomain is listed with its certificate status. You can click Run AutoSSL to trigger issuance immediately if a domain shows as uncovered.

Forcing HTTPS

Once your certificate is active, we recommend redirecting all traffic to HTTPS:
  • In cPanel, go to Domains and toggle Force HTTPS Redirect for the domain, or
  • Add a redirect in your .htaccess file:

Common questions

Do I need to pay for SSL? No. SSL certificates are included free on all plans. Can I install my own certificate? Yes. If you’ve purchased a certificate elsewhere (for example an EV or OV certificate), you can install it via cPanel → SSL/TLS → Install and Manage SSL. Why does my site show “Not Secure”? Usually one of: the domain doesn’t point to our server yet, AutoSSL hasn’t run since DNS propagated, or the page loads mixed content (http:// resources on an https:// page). For mixed content on WordPress, a plugin like Really Simple SSL fixes most cases. If you have any SSL issues, contact our support team and we’ll sort it quickly.
