Symptoms of an IP block
If your IP has been blocked, the server becomes unreachable from your connection only:- Your website times out, but online tools (e.g. https://downforeveryoneorjustme.com) show it’s up.
- cPanel, webmail, FTP, and email all fail to connect at the same time.
- The site works fine from your phone on mobile data, but not on your Wi-Fi.
Common causes
- Wrong email password saved in a mail client (which retries automatically and racks up failures fast — the most common cause)
- Repeated failed cPanel/FTP logins
- An old device (phone, tablet) still trying an outdated password in the background
How to get unblocked
- Find your public IP address — visit http://ipfinder.us from the blocked connection (use a device on the same network that still has web access, or mobile data won’t show the right IP).
- Contact our support team via live chat or ticket (from a working connection) and give us that IP address.
- We’ll check the firewall, remove the block, and tell you which service caused it so you can fix the stored password.
Preventing repeat blocks
- Update the password in every device and mail client after changing an email or cPanel password.
- Remove accounts from old devices you no longer use.
- Use a password manager so typos don’t accumulate.
