Enhance provides comprehensive tools for managing your website’s databases and backups directly from the control panel.

Databases

To manage databases for a website:
  1. Log in to your Enhance control panel.
  2. Select the website you want to manage.
  3. In the left sidebar, click Databases.
From here you can:
  • Create new MySQL databases
  • Create database users and assign them to databases
  • Launch phpMyAdmin to manage database content directly
  • Delete databases you no longer need
When you create a database, Enhance automatically generates the database name with your website’s prefix. Make note of the database name, username, and password — you will need these when configuring applications such as WordPress.

Backups

Enhance includes a built-in incremental backup system. To manage backups:
  1. Log in to your Enhance control panel.
  2. Select the website you want to manage.
  3. In the left sidebar, click Backups.
From here you can:
  • View available backup snapshots
  • Restore an entire website from a snapshot
  • Restore individual files, databases, or email accounts (granular restore)
Backups run automatically on a schedule set by your hosting provider. Because the system is incremental, only changes since the last backup are stored, which makes backups fast and storage-efficient.
Before making major changes to your website — such as updating WordPress core, changing themes, or modifying database structure — it’s a good idea to check that a recent backup snapshot exists.
