Accessing JetBackup 5
- Log in to your cPanel account.
- In the search field, type JetBackup or scroll to the JetBackup section.
- The JetBackup 5 tools appear.
Available restore points
We keep multiple restore points for your account. The number of available snapshots depends on your hosting plan, but typically daily backups are retained for a rolling window.What you can restore
JetBackup 5 lets you restore:- Full account backups — restore everything at once
- Home directory / files — browse the backup and restore individual files or folders
- Databases — restore individual MySQL databases
- Email accounts — restore individual mailboxes
- DNS zones — restore your DNS zone files
- SSL certificates — restore certificates
Performing a restore
- Open the relevant JetBackup section (for example, File Backups or Database Backups).
- Select the backup date you want to restore from.
- Select the items to restore.
- Click Restore (or Download if you want a local copy instead).
- The restore is added to the queue. You can monitor progress in the Queue section.
Restores overwrite the current version of the restored items. If you’re unsure, use the Download option first to keep a copy of the current state.
